Account & sign-in

How do I create an account?

Tap Sign up (/signup), enter your e-mail and a strong password. Nothing else is needed. We send you a verification e-mail. Two-factor security (authenticator app or passkey) is set up the first time you make a withdrawal or another security action.

I didn't get the verification e-mail

Check your spam / promotions folder and wait a few minutes. You can resend the e-mail from your Profile (/profile). Make sure the address has no typo; if it is wrong, open a support ticket.

I forgot my password

Use Forgot password (/forgot-password). We e-mail you a reset link that works for a limited time.

What is 2FA and when is it needed?

Two-factor authentication protects your money. You set it up (authenticator app like Google Authenticator, or a passkey) the first time you withdraw or change security settings; after that it is asked for those actions.

I lost my phone / 2FA device

Open a support ticket (/support). Our team will verify your identity before resetting 2FA. This cannot be done in chat. Never share backup codes with anyone, including people who claim to be staff.

How do I log out other devices?

Profile (/profile) → Security shows your active sessions. Use "log out other sessions" to end them all. Sessions also end automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

I think my account was hacked

Act fast: in Profile (/profile) use the emergency "Freeze my account" button. All sessions close, open orders are cancelled and API keys stop working. Then open a support ticket; the team will help you secure and unfreeze the account.

What is the anti-phishing code?

A secret word you set in Profile (/profile). It is shown in every real e-mail from Escoin. If an e-mail claims to be from us but lacks your code, it is fake.

Can I change my e-mail address?

For security, e-mail changes are handled by the support team. Open a ticket (/support) from your account; we will verify your identity first.

Identity verification (KYC)

Why do I need KYC?

Identity verification protects you and the exchange against fraud and money laundering. KYC level 1 is required before any withdrawal.

What are the KYC levels and limits?

Daily withdrawal limits by level:
• Level 0: no withdrawals • Level 1: 10,000 USDT / 24h • Level 2: 100,000 USDT / 24h
Level 1 = identity document + selfie. Level 2 = proof of address.

Which documents are accepted?

Level 1: a valid passport, national ID card or driving licence (front and back) and a selfie. Level 2: a recent proof of address (utility bill or bank statement). Upload clear JPG, PNG or PDF files at /kyc. Documents are stored encrypted.

How long does verification take?

Applications are reviewed by our team; you can follow the status on the KYC page (/kyc). If something is missing, you will see the reason there and can upload again.

My KYC was rejected

The reason is shown on the KYC page (/kyc). Common reasons are a blurry photo, cropped edges or an expired document. Fix it and submit again. If the reason is unclear, open a support ticket.

Deposits

How do I deposit crypto?

Go to Deposit (/deposit), choose the coin and the network, then copy your deposit address (or scan the QR). Send from your wallet or another exchange using exactly the same network. Supported networks:
• Bitcoin: BTC • Ethereum (ERC20): ETH, USDT, ELG • BNB Smart Chain (BEP20): BNB, USDT, ELG • Tron (TRC20): USDT

Which network should I choose?

Always the same network the sender uses. Example: USDT sent over TRC20 (Tron) must go to your Tron address, not to ERC20 or BEP20. Supported networks:
• Bitcoin: BTC • Ethereum (ERC20): ETH, USDT, ELG • BNB Smart Chain (BEP20): BNB, USDT, ELG • Tron (TRC20): USDT

My deposit hasn't arrived

Deposits are credited automatically after the required network confirmations:
• Bitcoin: 2 confirmations • Ethereum (ERC20): 12 confirmations • BNB Smart Chain (BEP20): 15 confirmations • Tron (TRC20): 1 confirmations
Check the transaction on a block explorer. If it is confirmed but still missing after 1 hour, open a ticket (/support) with the coin, network, amount and transaction ID (TXID).

I sent to the wrong network or wrong coin

Funds sent over an unsupported network or as an unlisted token may not be recoverable. Open a ticket (/support) with the TXID, coin, network and amount, and the team will check whether a recovery is technically possible. Never send funds to anyone who offers "recovery".

Is there a minimum deposit?

Yes, deposits below the minimum are not credited:
• BTC (Bitcoin): 0.0001 BTC • ETH (Ethereum (ERC20)): 0.001 ETH • USDT (Ethereum (ERC20)): 5 USDT • ELG (Ethereum (ERC20)): 10 ELG • BNB (BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)): 0.001 BNB • USDT (BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)): 1 USDT • ELG (BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)): 5 ELG • USDT (Tron (TRC20)): 1 USDT

Can I deposit with a bank card or bank transfer?

Not at the moment. Escoin Exchange supports crypto deposits only. You can buy crypto elsewhere and send it to your deposit address.

Withdrawals

How do I withdraw?

Withdraw (/deposit?tab=withdraw): choose the coin and network, paste the destination address, enter the amount and confirm with 2FA or passkey. KYC level 1 is required before any withdrawal.

What are the withdrawal fees and minimums?

Current withdrawal fees and minimums:
• BTC (Bitcoin): fee 0.0002 BTC, min 0.0005 • ETH (Ethereum (ERC20)): fee 0.002 ETH, min 0.005 • USDT (Ethereum (ERC20)): fee 5 USDT, min 20 • ELG (Ethereum (ERC20)): fee 20 ELG, min 50 • BNB (BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)): fee 0.0005 BNB, min 0.005 • USDT (BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)): fee 0.5 USDT, min 5 • ELG (BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)): fee 3 ELG, min 20 • USDT (Tron (TRC20)): fee 1.5 USDT, min 5

My withdrawal is pending

Withdrawals are reviewed by our team for your security and then sent; the status changes from pending to sent with a transaction ID (see /transactions). If it has been pending unusually long, open a ticket with the withdrawal details.

Can I cancel a withdrawal?

Yes. While it is still pending, you can cancel it in the withdrawal list on the Withdraw page (/deposit?tab=withdraw); the amount returns to your balance. Sent withdrawals cannot be reversed on the blockchain.

What is the address whitelist?

In Profile → Security you can turn on "whitelist only": withdrawals then go only to your saved addresses. A newly added address becomes usable after a 24-hour security hold, so a thief cannot add his own address and withdraw at once.

What is my daily withdrawal limit?

The 24-hour limit depends on your KYC level:
• Level 0: no withdrawals • Level 1: 10,000 USDT / 24h • Level 2: 100,000 USDT / 24h

My withdrawal was rejected

The amount and fee are returned to your balance. The reason is shown in Transactions (/transactions). If it is unclear, open a support ticket.

Spot trading & fees

What are the trading fees?

Spot: maker 0.1%, taker 0.1%. Futures: maker 0.02%, taker 0.05%. Convert: 1% included in the quote. Higher 30-day volume gives VIP discounts. Full list: /fees.

What is maker and taker?

Maker: your order waits on the order book (e.g. a limit order below the current price) and adds liquidity. Taker: your order fills immediately against existing orders (e.g. a market order). Makers usually pay less.

Which order types are available?

Limit (your price), market (best available price now), stop (triggers at a price), trailing stop (follows the price) and hidden limit (not shown on the order book).

How do I make my first trade?

Deposit (/deposit) → open Trade (/trade) → pick a pair such as BTC/USDT → choose Buy or Sell, the order type and the amount → confirm. Your orders and history are under the chart.

How do VIP levels work?

Your 30-day trading volume sets your fee discount:
• VIP1: ≥ 50,000 USDT → −10% • VIP2: ≥ 500,000 USDT → −25% • VIP3: ≥ 5,000,000 USDT → −40%

What is Convert?

Convert (/convert) swaps one coin for another instantly at a quoted rate, with no order book. The 1% fee is already included in the quote you see.

Which coins can I trade?

Current spot pairs: BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, ELG/USDT, BNB/USDT, SOL/USDT, TRX/USDT, POL/USDT, ARB/USDT, ETH/BTC, BNB/BTC, SOL/BTC, ELG/BTC, BNB/ETH, ELG/ETH. See all live prices on Markets (/markets).

Futures

What are futures?

Futures (/futures) let you go long (profit if price rises) or short (profit if price falls) with leverage, using USDT margin. Leverage multiplies both profits and losses, and you can lose your whole margin.

Why must I take a quiz first?

Futures are high-risk, so before your first trade you answer 10 short questions about how they work. Pass mark: 8/10; up to 5 attempts per day. Users who score exactly 8 are limited to 20x leverage for their first 30 days.

What is the maximum leverage?

Maximum leverage per contract:
• ARB/USDT: 50x • BNB/USDT: 75x • BTC/USDT: 100x • ELG/USDT: 20x • ETH/USDT: 100x • POL/USDT: 50x • SOL/USDT: 75x • TRX/USDT: 50x
Higher leverage means your liquidation price is closer to your entry.

What is liquidation?

If the price moves against you and your margin falls to the maintenance level, the position is closed automatically and the margin is lost. Use a stop-loss, lower leverage and watch the liquidation price shown on your position.

What is the funding rate?

Every 8 hours, long and short traders pay each other a small funding fee that keeps the contract price close to the market. A positive rate means longs pay shorts; negative means shorts pay longs. The current rate is shown on the futures page.

How do I move money to futures?

Futures use a separate futures wallet. Go to Assets (/assets) → Transfer and move USDT from Spot to Futures (and back the same way). Transfers are instant and free.

How do take-profit and stop-loss work?

When opening a position (or later on the position) you can set a take-profit price to lock in profit and a stop-loss price to limit losses. They close the position automatically when the price is reached.

Isolated or cross margin?

Isolated: only the margin assigned to that position can be lost. Cross: your whole futures balance supports all positions. This means fewer liquidations, but a bad trade can use more of your balance.

Bots, Earn & more

What is the Bot Center?

Bot Center (/bots) runs automatic strategies with your own balance: futures grid, spot DCA and futures DCA; spot grid is at /grid. You can run up to 25 bots. Bots follow your settings; profit is never guaranteed.

How do I stop a bot?

Open Bot Center (/bots) → My bots → Stop. For futures bots you can choose to close the position as well; for spot DCA you can sell the coins bought.

How does Earn work?

Earn (/earn) offers flexible savings (withdraw any time) and locked savings (fixed term, usually a higher rate). Rates are shown on each product. Locked funds cannot be withdrawn before maturity.

What are Launchpool and Launchpad?

Launchpool (/launchpool): stake tokens to farm new project tokens. Launchpad (/launchpad): participate in new token sales. Each project page shows its rules and dates.

How does copy trading work?

Copy trading (/copy) lets you automatically follow experienced traders. You choose the amount; their trades are copied proportionally. The platform takes 5% of profitable copied trades. Past results do not guarantee future results.

How does the referral program work?

Share your invite link from Rewards (/rewards). You earn 20% of the trading fees of the users you invite. More: /affiliate.

Security & scams

Someone on Telegram says he is Escoin support

Be careful: our staff never message you first and never ask for passwords, 2FA codes, seed phrases or for you to send money. Check any account, link or e-mail on Escoin Verify (/verify). Official support is only inside the website (/support).

How do I know a link or account is official?

Paste it into Escoin Verify (/verify). It tells you instantly whether a website, e-mail address or @username belongs to Escoin. Our official channels are listed on /community.

What will Escoin never ask me?

We will never ask for your password, 2FA code, backup codes, seed phrase, private keys, API secret, remote access to your device, or for a "verification payment". Anyone asking for these is a scammer.

Are API keys safe?

API keys (/api-keys) let trading programs use your account. Give them only the permissions they need, restrict them to your IP if possible and never share the secret. Delete keys you no longer use.
